| Next we set up the car for a four-wheel
alignment. |
 |
| You can see from our measurements that
both the front and the rear are in need of alignment
because of the lowering. We started in the rear of the
vehicle and moved to the front. |

|
| These are the kits that we
chose to use. Part number 81280 will be used to adjust
the front camber and Part number 73600 will be used to
adjust rear camber. |
 |
| Part number 73600 replaces
the upper control arm mounts of the rear suspension.
The first step was to remove the upper control arm to
knuckle bolt. |
 |
| The next step was to remove
the upper control arm bracket to inner fender panel bolts. |
 |
| With all the bolts removed,
we were then able to remove the upper control arm from
the vehicle. |
 |
| Next we removed the original
brackets from the control arm and replaced them with
the 73600-rear camber kit. All of this is done easiest
with the control arm out of the car and on the bench. |
 |
| On 1999 and up Mitsubishi
Galant and Eclipse models there is an extra panel that
overlays the inner fender panel and needs to be opened
up slightly in order for the camber kit to be installed
and adjusted properly. Approximately 3/16" needed
to be removed from each side of the pocket. |
 |
| After relieving the opening
for the brackets we then reinstalled the control arm
by installing the control arm bracket to inner fender
panel bolts then the control arm to knuckle bolt. |

 |
| After the installation was
complete we then adjusted the camber to specification
and finally the rear toe. Next we were ready to move
to the front of the vehicle. |
