Mitsubishi Project Car
Rear Strut Removal

The first thing we did was measure the ride height at all four corners to check the actual amount of drop. This was done more for our information more than anything else but also will be used to insure that we are not dropping the car more than what we intended.
Next we will need to remove the struts. On the rear we removed the lower strut-to-knuckle nuts.
Next we removed the upper strut mount nuts. To access these on this application we needed to remove the rear seat. There are two nuts on each side. Use care and support the strut while removing these nuts as the strut can fall out after removing the nuts.
Now we were able to remove the strut and prepare to remove the original springs in favor of our new Intrax coils.
