CHRIS/ACURA RSX TYPE S
Little did Chris know when he drove his new 2002 RSX up to our garage doors that
he would (or actually his car would) become our "cover boy". Chris'
RSX is the car we used to build the SPC performance car you see on our web site
and our brochures and flyers.
The left hand column below shows off how we "altered" Chris' car. The
right hand column shows how his car really appears. These days you can't believe
anything you see.
Mods: Injen intake, GReddy EVO exhaust, NOS nitros system, Acura OEM body kit,
17" SZigen Fireball wheels w/Toyo Proxes tires, Ground Control coil-overs,
SPC Performance Kit #60125, Alpine stereo, Wings West rear wing.
Future: Carbon fiber hood by VIS Racing, Hondata ECV upgrade, Wilwood big brake
kit.
Chris placed 8th @ Coys SuperStreet Race.
Chris' car is often featured in our booths at shows, most recently at Bandimere
in July 2002
Chris' car...then.
Here is Chris' car as it drove into SPC Performance. Lowered, new wheels, but
it stopped there.
We started by flipping the car, isolating it from the background and "popping" the
color and the highlights.
Now the fun begins - up the spoiler, add the front dam and grills along with
some side air effects.
But it wasn't ready for cover boy status yet - lots of logos, and a carbon hood,
a little lower, eyebrows, it has it all.
Chris' car...NOW.
